Dear Friends, Family and Loved Ones,

Thank you all for your hard work and dedication towards making the David J. Ramnath Memorial Dinner and Tennis Tournament happen.  This email is to update you on our progress, and identify key areas we need help in order to make sure both events are a success.  This may be the first email you are getting, but I am adding you on because I thought you may be interested in helping.  

David J. Ramnath Memorial Dinner

• The food has been selected!  We will also get a sheetcake from Sweetheart Bakery closer to the event.  
• Silent Auction: We have over 20 items for the event! Per the advice of a seasoned auction planner, that is plenty for our event.  If you know of anyone who still wants to donate please email rohini.ramnath@gmail.com because maybe we can bundle items.
• We want to update a slide show of pictures to run during the event, so if you have pictures please emaildeepakramnath@gmail.com the attachment.
• Tickets: We have had many wonderful volunteers who are currently selling tickets.  If you (Or anyone you know!) are willing to sell tickets, PLEASE contact rohini.ramnath@gmail.com.  Right now, we are halfway there to our goal number of 100 people attending.  We want to make this event a success and have many people to bid on the auction items!

• As of right now we have not secured a location.  We need someone to volunteer to get in touch with Randy Teymer in person as soon as possible.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 by December 30th. We are 72% there! Please consider making a donation before the end of the month.

The family has created a David J Ramnath Memorial Fund to honor and celebrate the life he led. Memorial gifts to honor David’s life will be used to establish an annual David J Ramnath Memorial Tennis Scholarship to a graduating senior of Pleasant Valley High School. We will also use the Memorial Fund to create an annual David J Ramnath Tennis Tournament. His love of tennis and PV are well known to all of you so we think this is a truly great way to honor him.
